Week 7 //

CATEGORY: VISUAL DESIGN
THEME: QUOTES OF THE DAY
SIZE FORMAT: A4 (100dpi)

Firstly, I searched for some references online.

Then, I decided to make my quotes of the day to be "DRAW YOUR WORLD, SHAPE YOUR DREAM"

Summary of my design concept:

A mix of photography and my own drawings.

Week 9 //

For the next step, I drafted the digital poster based on my sketch. I used the double exposure technique that we learned from project 2A as the main focus that is placed in the middle of the poster. I used the photo that I was painting, and placed it in one of my drawings, then combined them into a double exposure. Apart from that, I used some of my other drawings to fill the empty space on the upper part of the composition. I also took a picture of my hand holding a paintbrush to better convey the meaning of the quote.

In week 10, I made final adjustments and added my illustration part to the digital poster. Besides, I also created a collage using some elements I found from the Internet to highlight the concept of the quote.
